evo*2011 (EvoStar) brings together Europe’s premier events in the field of evolutionary computing, namely the three eurogp, evocop and evobio conferences and twelve application events collectively entitled evoapplications (evocomnet, evocomplex, evofin, evogames, evohot, evoiasp, evointelligence, evomusart, evonum, evostim, evostoc, evotranslog), in addition to evophd, the 6th European Graduate Student Workshop on Evolutionary Computation. These co-located events will be held at the University of Torino in Italy on 27-29 April 2011. A single registration allows access to all events with approximately 200 papers presented over three days. The friendly and informal atmosphere at EvoStar events is intended to foster beneficial friendships and longer-term collaboration across continents and across research generations.
An early discount is given to all registrations received by 1st March 2011, and you are encouraged to take advantage of the lower rates. The organisers work hard to minimise conference fees, and the 2011 registration rates have been fixed at the same level in Euros for many years now, meaning a net decrease in cost. Conference registrations are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with the organisers reserving the right to limit places if necessary. Registrations close on 20th April, a week before the events commence just before the Easter weekend. Half price student discounts are available for those registered at appropriate academic organisations, who are able to prove their student status if asked to do so.
